  • I am So-Young Bang, a professor specializing in Rheumatology at Hanyang University. My research focuses on genetic epidemiology and pharmacogenomics in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Over the course of my career, I have made substantial contributions to the field, with more than 80 articles published in SCI-indexed journals. I am involved in research initiatives as a member of the Research Committees at both the Korean and American Colleges of Rheumatology. I have been affiliated with the American Society of Human Genetics, further expanding my engagement in the global rheumatological community. My dedication to advancing precision medicine underscores my commitment to shaping the future of rheumatological research. I am passionate about exploring innovative approaches to enhance our understanding of genetic factors in rheumatic diseases and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field.
